Membership

Membership is open to any licensed amateur world-wide. Membership entitles you to vote at the annual general meeting, usually held in November of each year, and to be appointed to the board of directors, if an opening is available.

Honourable Members

We would like to recognize the following members for their outstanding contributions to our cause:

Mark Herson, N2MH. Mark is our prime contact into the AREDN network, and the inventor of Meshphone. He has been instrumental in assisting us to get our mesh network up and running, and in giving us access to the world wide phone network. He also has been a supporter of our weather receiver project and has promoted it in the United States.

Jerry Spring, VE6TL. Jerry’s generous donations from another amateur society have helped us to acquire much needed components for our 900 MHz repeater systems.

Bud Bennett, VE6BUD. We owe our polycom phones to Bud, as well as our enterprise server. Without those donations managing the phone network would have been much more difficult, and we would not have been able to deploy our network applications without the server.

Steve Stroh, N8GNJ. We acknowledge the assistance provided by Steve in crafting the grant application to ARDC.
